We believe that anyone can learn to code!
During this course, your child will start to get familiar with the text-based, written format of programming. The step between visual and text-based programming can be challenging for many kids. But with Mix Programming, we will bring your kid’s coding knowledge to the next level by offering a personalised transition from visual programming to professional-like, written code.
After having mastered visual coding, kids will be introduced to written programming languages alongside the visual blocks that they previously worked with. Our adaptive tools and unique methodology will guarantee that your kids will master coding skills in a fun and engaging way, enabling them to learn other professional programming languages more easily in the future.
After having completed the course, kids can continue their journey on the path to professional coding through increasingly challenging modules. The course is also useful for acquiring life skills besides coding, such as algorithmic and analytical thinking.
What will your child learn:
Editing and creating written commands to program their projects
Introducing do-while loops and comparing it with the while loop
Getting familiar with several types of functions
Learning about physical factors, such as gravity and friction
Performing extremum searches: calculating minimum and maximum values based on a certain property
Indexing loops and lists
Using algorithms for linear searches
Sorting several elements based on a certain property
Getting familiar with the StageScript programming language and its syntaxes
Problem-solving and algorithmic thinking
Self-confidence
Focus and precision
Concentration and perseverance
Communication
