We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

In September, we warmly welcome all our old and new students in continuing and new courses!

TO OUR CURRENT STUDENTS: We will be opening simplified pre-registration for our September courses during the month of August and will notify all parents via email. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

FOR NEW STUDENTS: If you haven't visited us yet, we invite you to our free open house! As a parent, you will receive information about how and in what form we teach. Your child can also play their first computer game and take away an unforgettable experience.

  • ADVANCED PROGRAMMING COURSES - GODOT/PYTHON/UNITY

Prerequisite for enrollment in the advanced courses: successful completion of a test to determine the level.

Dates

Each session lasts 90 minutes and starts at 15:45 on weekdays. Detailed information about available courses can be found on our website.

👉 If your preferred time is not available, you can select alternative times during registration. In the dropdown menu, please mark all suitable time slots! If none of the available options work for you, contact the school director or select any available slot and provide additional details in the NOTE field so we can find a suitable solution. The NOTE field is located at the end of the registration form.

Course Duration:Each course runs for a semester (school term), and each lesson lasts 90 minutes.

Prices, discounts and payment

Course fee

  • The course fee (17 lessons) can be paid in two installments, 150€ in September and 150€ in November.

  • The course fee can also be paid in one lump sum: 295€ / course .

Discounts

  • Group discount: 5% - if at least 4 new students sign up, if at least 4 new students sign up in total, if they are signing up for our program for the first time. The discount applies to the first academic year (2 semesters) of the Logiscool course.

  • Sibling discount: 5% - both siblings apply to our school in the same academic year. The discount can be applied as long as both siblings are studying at our school.

  • The maximum discount that can be combined is 10%.

Payment

In all cases, we issue an electronic invoice for the course fee made out in the student's name, which we ask to be paid by the first Logiscool lesson of the month by bank transfer.

Price for course

The course consists of 17 lessons, and the fee can be paid as follows:

In installments: 165 EUR before the start of the course 165 EUR in the following month

One-time payment: 325 EUR for the entire course during one semester/school year

Discounts

Group: 5: If at least 4 new students enroll at the same time and are participating in our program for the first time. This discount applies to the first academic year (2 semesters) of the Logiscool course.

Sibling: 5%: If siblings enroll at our school in the same academic year and both attend Logiscool.

Student: 5% Available to current Logiscool students or campers who re-enroll in our programs.

💡 Note: The maximum discount that can be combined is 10%.

Payment: An electronic invoice will be issued in the name of the student for the course fee, which must be paid via bank transfer no later than the first lesson of the course in the given month.

Dates and application

Our classes start the week of September 19, 2023 and run through June 12, 2024.

Both semesters include 17 hours of logiscool. Our classes run once or twice a week for 90 minutes (2x45 minutes). Groups start at 2:30pm and 4:15pm on weekdays and at 9:30am and 11:15am on Saturdays.

In the event of a shortage, we provide a free substitute option, which we offer three times per semester.

In addition to indicating your preferred time on the registration interface, alternate times can also be selected. Please mark all suitable times in the drop-down menu! If none of the available times are suitable, please contact the school principal or select (any) time and provide us with further information in the NOTE field so that we can find a solution. The NOTE field is located at the end of the registration form.

We send an email to all parents one week before the course starts which contains all the important information about the start of the course.
