We as parents know that digital literacy has become an essential tool for navigating the present and the future. In our special courses, our dedicated trainers will help your kids become self-confident and conscious users of digital tools and online platforms including the basics of programming. All this, in a playful, fun, and easily understandable way.

Improve your kids’ digital skills!

Like most kids, your child will also grow up with a smart phone or tablet in hand, either in the home environment or outside of it. Equip your kids with the tools and critical thinking skills that can help them navigate an increasingly digitized future. This course will cover the basics of algorithmic thinking and programming, digital content creation, as well as internet use and safety. It will also introduce kids to computer hardware, digital devices, and robotics. With us, your kids can enjoy the path to digital literacy, learning essential skills in a playful manner!

Requirements

Kids do not need any previous training or knowledge to complete this course.

Necessary software

  • For our in-Logiscool course: A Google account is necessary for participation. We provide all the necessary tools for the course.
  • In case, the school opens online courses: To participate in the online course, each student will need a laptop or a computer at home with a solid internet connection, a built-in or external microphone, a Google account and a mouse. We recommend having a headset and a web camera as well. The software needed for online communication is provided by us.

Our method

At Logiscool Watermael-Boitsfort, courses are given in groups from 4 to 12 students, following the Logiscool methodology and its international programme, both certified by Education Alliance Finland.

In our courses, theory and practice go hand in hand — discovering theory while carrying out fun and concrete projects makes learning more motivating and allows children to build long-term skills. More details on our method here.

Prices and discounts

The registration amount can be paid:

  • per year, at the time of registration, benefiting of a 10% discount: 765 euros instead of 850.
  • per semester, at the time of registration, and a second payment before January 15, 2025 at the latest, benefiting of a 5% discount: 2x405 euros instead of 2x425.
  • in 4 installments: a first payment of 212 euros at the time of registration, a second payment of 212 euros before November 15, 2024, a third payment before January 15, 2025 and a last payment before March 15, 2025.

In case of missed lessons, we offer students a make-up lesson in a different group or individually.

DISCOUNT for SIBLINGS : 5% discount for each child from the same family enrolled in Logiscool Watermael-Boitsfort.

To benefit from the discounts, all conditions must be met in the same Logiscool school. The Logiscool unit will check the reductions after registration and reserves the right to accept or refuse them. If you are eligible for a discount, the amount will be indicated in the email with the timetable confirmation.

Dates and application

Registration is open for the period September 2024 - June 2025. The first semester begins during the week of September 23, 2023 and consists in weekly sessions of 90 minutes with groups of 4 to 12 students. The second semester will start during the week of February 3, 2025.You will find higher up the page the details for each course, as well as the possible timetable and the registration form.
